AFITS CONSULTING SERVICES INC was launched in May 2005 as an ICT social networking website to exchange ideas among African IT professionals both home and abroad. Our objective was to fully utilize the power of internet to acquire and share various technological knowledge, embracement in Advance Science and Computer Technology to further facilitate the economic growth in Africa.

In 2007 we slowly transform from an ICT social networking website into a Business, ICT and Investment Consulting Company. In 2008 African Institute of Technologies became AFITS LLC, registered in the state of Massachusetts.

Our new mission now focuses on promoting capital and investments in African countries and also to promote trade between the United States and Africa. It is only through this we can envision the transformation of the African continent from its current economic strangulation.

Reginald Smart
Founder and CEO

Reginald Smart has been working in the computer industry for 15 years in various capacities. He started as a computer Technician, and then later on years later as a Desktop Support Specialist, IT Support Specialist, Computer Analyst and Network Administrator. He is currently a consultant for an Analytical X-Ray Manufacturer as an IT Manager. Reginald Smart has a degree in Computer Science from Quincy College and several IT Certificates from Microsoft and Novell. In addition AFITS LLC is the second company he has founded. In 1996 he co-founded a computer company called KARS Computers Services with two of his long time friends. Kars Computers was a full service computer provider, he held the position as a Vice President and was responsible for overseeing the entire customer service department which includes computer repairs, upgrades, tech support, installations, custom built and refurbishes computers. In 1999 he sold his share to his two partners. As CEO of AFITS LLC Reginald is responsible for seeking new African Business clients, reviewing all new applications forms for investments, reviewing Business Plans and contracts. In addition he is also responsible for the direction and leadership towards the achievement of AFITS LLC’s philosophy, mission, strategy, and objectives goals.

Philip Smart
President and General Manager-(Partner)

Philip Smart is a Chemical Engineer, and has worked in the pharmaceutical production environment in various capacities for nearly 25 years. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from University of Massachusetts. His previous senior management position was as a Production Manager for an Armstrong Laboratories in Boston Massachusetts. He was responsible for overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule and making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality. He officially came on board as a co-partner, President and General Manager in 2007. He is responsible for reviewing and drafting client’s Business Plan, and contract negotiation. He will also oversee all AFITS LLC financial and accounting matters. He will also be responsible for the personnel and business development. In addition he also assists the CEO with planning strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

Tina Seale
Sales and Marketing Manager

Tina Seale is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Sales and Marketing. She has accrued experience working with several advertising and marketing Agencies as an intern in the Boston Area. Tina is responsible for soliciting new investors and US companies interested in new markets opportunities in Africa. She will also manage all news sales contracts with clients including developing, optimizing, negotiating key deal terms, closing contractual agreements, maintaining and pursuing strategies focused on key decision makers. She will also oversees advertising, promotional staff and activities, .the development of a marketing strategies to meet AFITS LLC objectives, evaluates customer research, market, competitor data and implementing marketing plan changes as needed
